The mission of SFNLA is to
Raise awareness of the Slow Food Movement;
Promote indigenous foods and traditions and celebrate the cultural diversity of the region;
Serve as a resource for food education and the importance of growing, producing, marketing, preparing, and serving wholesome foods;
To value the experience created by sharing a meal.
This mission will be accomplished though events and activities open to members and non-members.
